This master ensuite renovation was designed to achieve a perfect balance between timeless luxury and contemporary colour. The defining element is the consistent application of Farrow & Ball's muted, delicate pink, Calamine, across two major pieces. The Vanity Hall in-frame double-drawer washstand provides a tailored, furniture-like focal point. Its soft pink hue and traditional framing stand in striking contrast to the dramatic, large-format marble-effect tiling used throughout the space, creating an immediate visual anchor. The washstand offers essential storage and organisation, ensuring the aesthetic is not compromised by clutter, while the twin vessel basins and brushed black hardware introduce a modern, industrial counterpoint to the classically styled cabinet.

The sense of bespoke luxury is further amplified by the custom Boat bath, which is also expertly finished in the same Calamine shade. Placing the free-standing bath, with its soft, curved silhouette, directly beneath the window transforms bathing into a ritualistic experience. The repetition of the Calamine colour on both the vanity and the bath acts as a powerful design unifier, preventing the expansive marble from overwhelming the room. Accentuated by sophisticated backlighting strips near the floor and ceiling, and contrasted with sleek brushed black fixtures, this ensuite successfully combines high-end fittings with a subtle, warm colour palette to create a truly tranquil and personalised sanctuary.
