This project successfully transformed a standard bathroom into a luxurious, highly functional contemporary space defined by sophisticated material selection and thoughtful lighting design. The core objective was to introduce warmth and visual interest into a clean, neutral palette. This was expertly achieved through the strategic application of brass (or a warm bronze/copper-toned) fixtures and fittings, which provide a striking contrast against the pale, large-format tiled walls and floors. Key features include an overhead shower and a complementing handheld shower, alongside a compact, wall-mounted vanity unit topped with a sleek vessel basin. The commitment to a cohesive design is further evidenced by the matching brass wall-mounted tap set, towel rail, and toilet flush plate, utilising high-quality products from Crosswater, to ensure both aesthetic harmony and long-term performance.

The atmosphere of the room is dramatically enhanced by the integrated mood lighting system. Linear LED strips are recessed along the perimeter of the floor and ceiling coves, washing the space in a soft, continuous glow that accentuates the clean architectural lines and subtly highlights the texture of the tiles. This 'halo' effect elevates the bathroom from a purely utilitarian area to a calming, spa-like retreat, particularly in the evening. The design maintains a minimalist feel, opting for a frameless shower screen, a floating toilet, and a circular mirror, to keep the focus on the luxurious finishes and the interplay between light and texture, resulting in a cohesive, elegant, and highly functional wet room.
